Proofing Options

We are pleased to offer you several choices for your proofing needs; more choice gives you, the customer, more options and flexibility. Our proofers have been calibrated with ICC profiles from colour targets printed on the press, measured by our Spectrophotometer.

Ripped PDF proofs:
Created at our highly advanced prepress front-end, these PDF's will be be more accurate than one ripped from your own workstation, and illustrate details that may not appear on your own PDFs (ie. knockouts, overprints, chokes and spreads, etc). This proof has the advantage of being easily emailed, and viewed by multiple recipients. However, due to the variable display quality of monitors, colour representation may vary.

Low Resolution Double-Sided Imposition proofs:
This is a colour-managed 360x360 dpi proof on matte stock. With the option of having double-sided full-colour imposed layouts, proofed exactly as the final product will be on the press sheets, this is the proof you want for accurate checking of layout, bleeds, and text. For magazines and booklets, our final product will be cut down and stitched to create a mock-up of your job. This type of proofing has the advantage of being registred front to back while still accurately displaying the information and layout of your job, as well as being extremely affordable. A great choice whether you want a mock-up of how your final product will look. are on a budget, or simply have no need of the higher quality level of proofing.

Contract High Resolution proofs:
This proof is of the very highest quality, even minute details will be accurately rendered. This is the proof you want for your cover, important graphics, or photographs where image quality is the concern.
